Super-refractory status epilepticus (SRSE) is
defined as status epilepticus (SE) that continues for
24 hours or more after the onset of anesthetic
therapy, including those in whom SE recurs while
on proper anesthetic treatment or after withdrawal
of anesthetic agents.
